Mike had the idea of filming a steam fair in Yorkshire so we went along without being too sure what would result. Something seem to emerge that connected with the themes of our previous work. Mark Sedgwick composed the music, I found some words from the soundtrack of On Which We Serve and Kyp put it all together.

We commissioned Ulf Langheinrich to write a score inspired by the massive machines that dug the opencast coalfields of Wolfen Bitterfeld in the former German Democratic Republic where Ulf grew up.
